Garden Action (and Shakespeare!)

As promised: July in the garden! Lots going on ...;)

It's amazing the difference one month makes. By the way, the gorgeous orange bucket is there for the purpose of catching moles. Why the critter decided to come up in that particular spot when he has more than an acre of lawn to choose from is more than I can say. O_o

My Saturday evening was spent at a local park, watching a non-profit theater group perform a Shakespeare comedy! This group does at least one, sometimes two Shakespeare performances here every summer, and it's one of my favorite summer-time activities. :) Fortunately they don't forbid picture taking, so here's a taste, surreptitiously shot while endeavoring to not distract the actors. ;)

Rivals!

A serenade that fell flat ...

And of course, the obligatory girl in love with the decidedly unhappy father.
And in view of the late hour, I shall bid you farewell with ... "Parting is such sweet sorrow!"
;)
